A great online source to use while making a portfolio is Tumblr. As someone who has a tumblr, and has spoken with Kathy about how great this site can be in regards to a portfolio, this site is a great place to post pieces of your portfolio in one simple and easy place. Tumblr. makes it easy to post photos, or art pieces, which can easily be updated and sent to potential clients, or art critics. As a fellow Tumblr user, I feel tumblr is a quick, easy, and cheep way to put an online portfolio together.

This is a online portfolio site that I found interesting. The user could create a website of their own and you could upload and share your works to other people online. You just need to sign up an account and you will have a tutorial along with how to use it . After you personalize you account you could find other members profile. The website is free.

I have been using a site called wix.com for an online portfolio. It’s free to sign up and use for anyone. You can create and about me section, break up your work into different pages on your site, post photos and design projects you’ve done, link your blog and social networking sites to it, control the website lay out, format, colors, design, etc. It’s a fantastic site for being free. I found and interesting photographers site on there linked below. Check hers out as an eample of the possibilities.
