Since my last post was about David Carson and his book, Id figure I could continue with more examples of his work!

Carson loves to use is own messy, abstract typography look to all his art pieces. CHECK IT OUT

He was also a Pro Surfer, Which needless to say was a great way for him to get into the Design world creating posters and magazine covers for Surfing magazines.

I decided to choose a book by David Carson ( my magazine project man)

David Carson is a Graphic designer with a very unique style. Here in his book

The End of Print: The Grafik Design of David Carson

David Carson continues to talk about how creating your own style and expressing yourself is how one can fully reach their true creativity. He is a very inspiring designer to me and I want you to all enjoy him too!

Self Promotion

April 24, 2012

I found a very interesting self promotion design for a company called A3. I selected Kiss the design because it was very simply and neat. It was also very organized and unique! This is a presentation of how I would like to complete my series as well!

This is their Corporate Identity for post war design and contemporary art.

Tiffany Farrant
An information graphic and web designer based near Bristol in the United Kingdom, Farrant enjoys “trawling” through big spreadsheets and “making information look pretty.” She is currently working as a senior designer for JESS3, a creative agency that specialises in data visualisation.

Her website :

I also choose the (graffiti) artisit Banksy for this blog. I feel that he is a great example of how to communicate feeling through his work as well as working with the positive and negative space of the buildings and signs he completes his work on.

Banksy is a graffiti artist based out of Califronia. Know one has ever seen his face but he creates some of the most magnificient art works. I am very inspired by him!
