I chose the Starbucks logo. Since the past decade this logo is recognizable to nearly everyone. It’s been redesigned a few times throughout the years, but still manages to keep it’s main component of the siren. Very recently they dropped the name “starbucks coffee” from their logo, which tests how popular the brand really is. Will everyone know it’s Starbucks without the words “Starbucks Coffee”? The evolution of this logo is interesting. Everytime it changes it gets simpler. I found this picture that kind of mocks that.
