Paula Scher

February 23, 2012

Paula Scher began her career in graphic design as an art director in the 70s. According to her biography of AIGA, since then, she’s been at the forefront of graphic design. She has worked with a wide range of clients and has designed popular logos such as CitiBank and Tiffany & Co. She has won numerous awards for her achievements. My favorite work of Paula Scher, however, is her series of maps. Scher painted a series of maps that contained contextual details of what we may think of the cities/countries/locations she painted.
