I know this is a little late… Anyways, I found the book (well, e-book) Street Smart: How to Win the Battle of the Buzz by Margo Berman. It talks a lot about how to catch people’s attention through ads and ways to do it (eg. type, colors, catchy phrases, etc). I tried to relate it to the poster project in which we just completed and found myself being able to relate a lot of what was said to the sample posters posted on Angel. I wish I had found this book sooner!
